- Mahōgakkō by Hakushi Hasegawa: Japanese artist Hakushi Hasegawa proudly unveils their upcoming album "Mahōgakkō" under LA-based Brainfeeder Records, set for release on July 24th. Alongside this announcement, Hasegawa shares a new single and accompanying video titled "Boy's Texture," marking the album's second single following last year's "Mouth Flash (Kuchinohanabi)." In a bold move, Hasegawa reveals their face to fans for the first time, shedding light on a previously enigmatic persona. "Mahōgakkō," translating to "Magic School," aims to navigate the complexities of a chaotic yet vibrant world by immersing itself within it. Blending elements of pop and pandemonium, the album embodies extremes, juxtaposing chipmunk-pitched voices with percussion reminiscent of speed metal. Noise meets melody, cuteness confronts aggression, and acoustic harmonizes with electronic in what Hasegawa describes as the Explanatory Ratio. With "Mahōgakkō," it becomes evident that Hasegawa is not only pushing the boundaries of Japanese music but also leaving a significant mark on global music culture. This album serves as a testament to Hasegawa's undeniable talent and signifies just the beginning of their promising career. Website Link- 'hakushihasegawa'
