"Vinyl is, in part, the sound of history and time. It’s so much more than just the music that’s on it."

In an age dominated by digital streaming, there's something uniquely enchanting about the crackle and warmth of a vinyl record. This week, we're thrilled to explore a lineup of freshly pressed vinyl albums that promise to take your auditory experience to the next level. From contemporary hits to classic reissues, these releases are perfect for both new collectors and seasoned vinyl enthusiasts.

The physical versions of the album will feature an exclusive live rendition of 'So Fast,' recorded during her sold-out show at Earth Hackney last year. "Vertigo" captures the disorienting, whirlwind feeling of navigating a rapidly changing world and the uncertainty that comes with it. Griff has taken her fans on this journey of self-discovery, reflecting on themes of melancholy, heartache, healing, and joy. This coming-of-age album is a testament to Griff's growth as an artist, showcasing her ability to reach new creative heights while maintaining the unique, hand-crafted charm that established her as one of British Pop's most innovative voices. 3. Stop Thinking and Start Feeling by Cosmo's Midnight: The duo's natural chemistry is once again on full display with the creation of Cosmo’s Midnight’s third studio album, *Stop Thinking Start Feeling*. The process for this album began almost immediately after the release of *Yesteryear* in 2020. Spanning nearly three years of writing and experimenting, the album was crafted in various locations including Australia, Los Angeles, and London. This diverse backdrop of travel and collaboration allowed Cosmo’s Midnight to embrace a liberating creative mindset. Taking a break from touring provided the duo with the freedom to explore different styles without the pressure of expectations—whether industry-related or personal. As a therapeutic project and a new chapter of creativity, *Stop Thinking Start Feeling* captures a sense of renewal and exploration. The album reflects themes of post-isolation travel, the distance from loved ones, the excitement of returning to touring, and a resurgence of energy, channeling a bright horizon of unknowns. 4. Early Daze by Neil Young With Crazy Horse: The earliest recordings of Neil Young with Crazy Horse hold a legendary status, so much so that even the most ardent fans of Young and his seminal band can hardly contain their excitement when new releases are announced—such as with the forthcoming Early Daze. Early Daze marks the first time that these foundational tracks have been assembled on a single album, featuring some of Neil Young's most iconic originals, alongside several tracks that include contributions from band guitarist Danny Whitten. This period represents Young’s first foray with a band following the breakup of Buffalo Springfield, capturing a pivotal moment in rock 'n' roll history at the close of the 1960s. This collection includes several previously unreleased original versions, along with the 7-inch mono mix of ‘Cinnamon Girl’ released in 1970, which features a unique guitar outro not found on the original LP version. Early Daze offers a treasure trove for fans and historians alike, shedding light on the nascent days of Neil Young with Crazy Horse. Website Link- 'roughtrade'
