Liam y John han sido amigos durante años, pero cuando Liam invitó a John a unirse a él en el escenario de Knebworth en 2022, reavivó la ambición de larga data de escribir y grabar un álbum juntos. Los demos fueron escritos en el estudio de la casa de John en Macclesfield y luego grabados con el legendario productor Greg Kurstin y mezclados por Spike Stent. Joey Waronker (Atoms for Peace, Beck, REM) toca la batería en el álbum.
